To mark the beginning of another academic year, the UBC Department of English Language & Literatures is hosting a welcome back party for our undergraduate students. This is an opportunity to connect with your peers, faculty, and staff in the department. Whether you are currently a Major, Minor, or Honours student in our programs, or are thinking of becoming one, we would love to have you join us!
The party will feature short presentations from The English Students’ Association, and The Garden Statuary, followed by board games, trivia and community building.
Do you tend to feel drained from socializing? We’ve got you covered! For those who still want to attend but need a quiet space to decompress, the Faculty Lounge next door will be made available as a low-sensory space.
Light refreshments will be provided. Buchanan Tower 323 is wheelchair accessible with 32-inch doors.
