 epartment of English\, Northwestern University</em></p><p><strong>Michelle 
 N. Huang</strong> is an associate professor of English and Asian American S
 tudies at Northwestern University. Her book\, <em>Racial Beings: Experiment
 s in Asian American New Materialisms </em>(Duke University Press\, 2026)\, 
 examines posthumanist aesthetics in post-1965 Asian American literature to 
 trace racial representation beyond the individual human character. Her work
  appears in<em> Journal of Asian American Studies\, American Literature\, C
 ontemporary Literature\,</em> and <em>American Quarterly</em>\, among other
  venues. Her film essay\, <em>INHUMAN FIGURES: Robots\, Clones\, and Aliens
 \, </em>can be viewed online at the <a href="https://apa.si.edu/inhuman-fig
 ures/" rel="nofollow">Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center</a>. Dr. Hu
 ang is in residence at Green College for a week in March\, 2027.</p><p><str
