 iting inaugural event!</p><p>After hearing from our community and identifyi
 ng a demand for more events that support the creative side of English studi
 es\, we have experimented with the formula of academic conferences to highl
 ight UBC’s aspiring writers! We are fortunate enough to be hosting over fif
 teen student poets who will be reading their works out loud for us all to e
 njoy. Whether you need a break from cramming term papers or want to feel in
 spired\, everyone is welcome at this event. Refreshments will be provided.<
