This hybrid session will provide practical advice on how to approach research funding applications, with specific focus on the Canada Graduate Research Scholarships (formerly SSHRC doctoral and master’s awards) and Canada Postdoctoral Research Award. Topics to be covered include grant writing as a genre, how to strategically craft a program of work, and tips for success. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions for the Q&A portion. Light refreshments will be served.
