The UBC Department of English Language & Literatures is pleased to invite faculty and postdoctoral fellows in the Faculty of Arts to an engaging session with Dr. Matthew Wyman-McCarthy.
This in-person session will provide an overview of SSHRC funding opportunities for researchers in the Humanities, as well as focus on how to craft successful Insight and Insight Development Grant applications. Topics to be covered include competition trends, what reviewers look for in each section of the application, strategies for success, and a Q&A. Tips for successful applications are based on competition data, feedback on past applications, advice from funding agencies, and the insights of past adjudication committee members. Light refreshments will be served.
