PhD student Trishala Dutta joins UBC’s Public Scholars Initiative

Trishala Dutta, PhD Student of English

“My PhD work asks how exhaustion can reveal the asymmetrical relationship between race, space, power, and well-being. Through the PSI, I hope to develop a critical and creative project that brings this research into conversation with the communities I write about. The project would not simply document experiences of exhaustion; it would use those experiences as a way of understanding the social and material conditions that shape how communities live.”
