I am a PhD student in the Language Studies program. My current research draws from applied linguistics and cognitive semantics to study how language impacts eating disorder sufferers. From a broader perspective, I am interested in connections between neurocognition, emotion, and language processing. Major strands of my work straddle the interdisciplinary fields of medical humanities and public health.
