Sherrill Grace, OC, FRSC, is a UBC University Killam Professor Emerita. She specializes in 20th century Canadian Literature and the Arts, and has published books on Margaret Atwood, Sharon Pollock, Tom Thomson, and Malcolm Lowry, including a two-volume edition of his Collected Letters. Her book Canada and the Idea of North illustrates her fascination with the Arctic, and in Landscapes of War and Memory she examines Canada’s representations of the two World Wars.  More recently, she has turned her attention to the theory and genres of autobiography and biography. In 2020 she published Tiff: A life of Timothy Findley, one of Canada’s most important writers. Interviews with Dr. Grace are available on YouTube, and the biography is out as an audible book.
