Alicia is a second-year MA student who holds a double BA in Linguistics and English language from the University of British Columbia. She is currently pursuing the research stream in Science and Technology Studies, as she is fascinated by the interdisciplinary epistemologies bridging STEM and humanities together. Her interests include cognitive, historical and applied linguistics, media theory, and the oxford comma (did you see what she did there?). She is currently working on a thesis on literary representations of AI consciousness.
