Speaker Biography

YUSRA HASAN is an associate producer at Nous Network, a think tank-media house working around humans rights, politics and religion, particularly interested in the Muslim question. Yusra is a strong advocate of Muslim women speaking for themselves and believes in the need for building Third Spaces for Indian Muslims. Previously, she was with Newslaundry, working as a director-producer and writer. She worked with the team that created the documentary feature, While We Watched.
