The Department of English Language & Literatures invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer for Term 2 of the academic year 2018-2019 to teach one 3-credit section of ENGL 344 “Medieval Studies,” a variable-content course focused on literature of the Medieval period.
Applicants must have a PhD in Medieval English Literature or be near completion, with post-secondary teaching experience in the field and a record that provides evidence of teaching effectiveness. Applicants from both inside and outside UBC are encouraged to apply.

This position is subject to final budgetary approval and is governed by UBC’s “Agreement on Conditions of Appointment for Sessional Faculty Members.” The current minimum salary is $6,915 per 3-credit course.
