The Department of English Language and Literatures is happy to announce that UBC Senate has just approved our request to eliminate the Language Proficiency Index (LPI) Requirement. Starting in 2019S, there will no longer be any pre-requisite to 100-level English courses. Registration for all summer courses begins March 4.
