About

I hold a BA in English from the University of Calgary, where I developed an interest in watershed poetics. Much of this early research learns from land-based epistemologies, feminist theory, and ecocritical theory. My current SSHRC funded MA research tends towards contemporary Canadian poetics as well as a broader interest in cultural theory and pedagogy, and I’m particularly interested in examining representations of place and belonging through mapping and visualization practices.
