About

Lorcan has a BA Hons from the University of Toronto (1984), and an MA (1987) and PhD (1993) from Queen’s University, Ontario. Before he began teaching at UBC in September, 1995, he taught for two years at Memorial University, Newfoundland. His main interest is English Romantic poetry, Wordsworth in particular. As a teacher he strives to make his students, whatever their interests and background, care as much about literature as he does.
