My research centres on the intersections of avant-garde movements, postcolonial identities, and political resistance in South Asian and MENA countries. I examine how the colonial legacies of these regions intertwine, shaping their present-day political and social dynamics and producing new conceptions of patriotism, nationalism, and belonging.
