I’m a second-year Master’s student in English at UBC. My research lies in the nexus of formalist comics studies, critical race and gender studies, and migration studies. Specifically, I’m interested in how the comic form supports the expressions of borders, borderlands and spatio-temporal movement. When not working, I can usually be found watching cheesy horror and reading comics in the guise of research.
