I earned my BA in English Literature and Classical, Near Eastern and Religious Studies from UBC before joining the MA program in 2022. My research interests are in spatial, ecocritical and postcolonial approaches to premodern literature, cultural meeting in the Medieval North Sea world and depictions of the region of Sapmí in the Old Norse and Old English literary corpus. I am currently developing my masters dissertation on notions of “path” in the poems Beowulf and Wulf and Eadwacer.
