Short Story Longlisted for Journey Prize

Congratulations to Alex Leslie (BA Hons ’07) “The Person You Want To See” was longlisted for this year’s Journey Prize. “The Person You Want to See” is part of a collection of short stories in progress entitled We All Need to Eat. It will be included in this year’s Journey Prize anthology published by Mclelland & Stewart/Random House, this fall. The Journey Prize is awarded to a new and developing writer of distinction for a short story published in a Canadian literary magazine. The 2016 prize winner will be announced on November 2 at the Writers’ Trust Awards.
