The UBC English Students’ Association (ESA) is pleased to invite you to our first ever creative conference, The Poetry Collection. Join us on Wednesday, November 23rd from 4:00 – 6:00 PM in Irving K. Barber’s Peña room for this exciting inaugural event!
After hearing from our community and identifying a demand for more events that support the creative side of English studies, we have experimented with the formula of academic conferences to highlight UBC’s aspiring writers! We are fortunate enough to be hosting over fifteen student poets who will be reading their works out loud for us all to enjoy. Whether you need a break from cramming term papers or want to feel inspired, everyone is welcome at this event. Refreshments will be provided.
