Dr. Danielle Wong Awarded 2024/2025 Killam Faculty Teaching Prize

Congratulations to Dr. Danielle Wong on being awarded a 2024/25 Killam Faculty Teaching Prize! The Killam Teaching Prize is awarded annually to faculty members who are nominated by students, colleagues and alumni in recognition of their excellence in teaching.

Danielle Wong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English Language and Literatures, and she is also a faculty affiliate of the Asian Canadian and Asian Migration Studies Program. Her research focuses on the analysis of race, empire, capitalism, and “new” technologies. Prior to joining the University of British Columbia, she was a Postdoctoral Associate in the Asian American Studies Program at Cornell University.
